Proud of you Papa

My Dad returned from the US on the night of July 18, 2009. Out there in Plano, TX where he stayed with my sister, he was a regular at the Recreation Centre and used the gym and other facilities there extensively. He suffers from Parkinson’s disease but he has never let that get in his way and physically has been active even more than someone half his age (He recently completed 74). At the Rec Centre there, they had a walking track and had a scheme to get people to walk a distance of 36 miles. Proud to say Papa did it in a span of 8 days. Puts me to shame but well he is my Dad and I am proud of that.

  1. Yup Kanukaka sets the standard for most of us in the family and in general leaves no excuses for any of us! 🙂 Awesome really. I hope Dad at least *starts* some of this.

  2. Rahul, honestly our generation is most vulnerable as we don't exercise. Believe me there are so many health complications just because of our sedentary life style. I do hope you are taking good care of your health.
